Food

Today's topic was my choosing. Well our choosing but my idea. Refusing to go along with the recently mainstream idea of "Life as a..." I went with a similar idea but different format. I decided to force the class to think of what kind of food they would be and why.

My decision: I would be a bagel. Why? No other reason than right now it is my favorite food. And because I hope that my job future includes me serving bagels and coffee, I hope, it seem fitting that I would be a bagel. Although the longer I thought about it, the more I came to realize why being a bagel was a good comparison if what my personality is: Bagels are easy to make. One only has to split the bagel, spread the cream cheese, join bagel parts, and enjoy. Not only are they designed for the lazy in mind, but there are endless varieties of bagels, not only in the flavor of the pastry but in the flavoring of the cheeses.

I think that bagels are an excellent choice of food for someone like me.
